Andrea Sweeney-Blanco

Born in Monterrey Nuevo Leon, Mexico, Andrea is an international award winning film and stage actress, based in Los Angeles. Acting veteran since age six, she began her artistic career in Musical Theatre, training in voice, movement and dance.

In her early teens she moved to Los Angeles with her family, where she began to get involved in screen work. She maintains dual citizenship between both countries.

Andrea was seen in a stage production at the Colony Theatre in Burbank by her current manager, April Mills, which earned her representation and she began to book work in film, television, and commercials.

She was also active in her school's Vocal Conservatory, winning the Music Award when graduating from Mayfield Senior School. Her theatre and film training continued every summer, including activities like gymnastics, karate, improvisation and stunts.

She studied at Emerson College, getting a BFA in Musical Theatre, while maintaining an active professional life in the Boston and New York areas.

She won the "Best Actor" award in New Hampshire for the short film 'Empty Room', as well as "Best Supporting Actress" award in NYC for the short film 'Plutoed.' She was also nominated for a "Best Actress" award at the Santa Monica Film Festival.
