Marianne Blicher is a Danish director and scriptwriter based in Copenhagen but with the world as her playground and inspiration. She is a graduate from the acclaimed film school Super16 in Denmark and holds a master's degree in communication from RUC, DK.
Blicher's short films have won several prizes worldwide, including a silver dragon for best fiction film at the Oscar qualifying Krakow Film Festival. "Miss Viborg" is her first feature film as a writing director and it continues the winning streak with main awards at Santa Barbara International Film Festival, Monte-Carlo Film Festival and at OFF Camera International Festival of Independent Cinema in Krakow.
