Alfred Brendel was born on January 5, 1931 in Loucná nad Desnou, Czechoslovakia. He is known for his work on Ex Machina (2014), Legend (2015) and Le gamin au vélo (2011).
He has been married to Irene Semler since 1975. They have three children. He was previously married to Iris Heymann-Gonzala.
