Michael Tyburski is an American director and screenwriter. He is best known for The Sound of Silence (2019) which premiered in U.S. Dramatic Competition at the 2019 Sundance Film Festival.
His short films include Actor Seeks Role (2015) which won the Grand Jury Prize at IFFBoston, and Palimpsest (2013), which won a Special Jury Award at the 2013 Sundance Film Festival.
In 2013, Michael was named amongst the "25 New Faces of Independent Film" by Filmmaker Magazine.
