Ivana began her career in Canada when she dazzled on the "Last Comic Standing" style TV talent competition show Sketch Troop.
She would go on to appear at major comedy festivals with her story telling comedy including the celebrated Just For Laughs Comedy Festival in Montreal.
After relocating to New York, she studied at the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute, The Public Theater's Shakespeare Festival Summer Lab, and the American Academy of Dramatic Arts.
Ivana made her feature film debut in Lucky McKee's The Woods playing a young Patricia Clarkson. The same year, she appeared in Mark Adam's award-winning film Steel Toes with David Strathairn and Andrew Walker.
After this promising launch, she has continued to steadily build a resume of strong and interesting characters. Big screen credits include Richard J.
Lewis' Oscar nominated Barney's Version with Paul Giamatti and Dustin Hoffman as well as Trygve Allister Diesen and McKee's Red with Brian Cox and Tom Sizemore.
Television credits include a recurring role on NBC's Days of Our Lives and CBS's Person of Interest as well as the Canadian series The Detectives. She appeared in the feature film Meadowland directed by Reed Morano with Olivia Wilde and Luke Wilson.
She is thrilled to be one of the leads in Mickey Keating's Psychopaths with Ashley Bell, Angela Trimbour and Mark Kassen which premiered at The Tribeca Film Festivals and opens in theatres December 2017.
She has just wrapped principal production of Man Running as one of the leads on Gary Burns intensive meditation on assisted suicide. Ivana has also never lost her love for the stage and is often writing for it, or performing on it in Los Angeles.
Her one person show about immigration "Faking It" appeared at Upright Citizens Brigrade, ZooFest,- Just For Laughs, and was picked up by Emmy award winning director Richard J.
